Threshers Barn
Our Grade II listed stone barn is deceptively light and spacious. It sleeps 6 plus cot in 3 double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size hand carved four poster and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom upstairs has twin beds and en-suite bathroom, and downstairs there is a third twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, accessible from the open plan sitting room. A farmhouse kitchen with large island breakfast bar completes the downstairs. A staircase leads to the gallery landing. From the sitting room a door leads outside to an enclosed private courtyard garden, with picnic bench for al-fresco dining.
What visitors to our barn had to say ' really cosy, warm and bright and comfortable'.
Millers Cottage
This cottage sleeps 2/3 plus cot. It is on one level, and
has a bedroom with super-king size bed, and
small room affording some privacy for a third person with a single divan.
There is a bathroom, and open plan kitchen with dining and sitting
areas, and a
back door with access to the enclosed garden laid to lawn. The vaulted
ceilings and dual aspect give a cosy but bright and airy feel to the
cottage. A picnic bench is provided for al-fresco dining.
The Wheatsheaf
This cottage sleeps 2 plus cot in a large bedroom with super-king size
bed and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen, dining and living area is open
plan, with back door to the enclosed lawned garden at the rear, where a
picnic bench is provided for al-fresco dining. The
cottage is deceptively light and airy due to its dual outlook and
vaulted ceilings. Again all accommodation is on one level.
The Granary
This cottage is very different to our other cottages. Due
to its lay-out we prefer to
keep it pet free, although we have taken pets on occasion.
It has a cosy sitting/dining room with exposed beams, a bright vaulted
ceiling
kitchen, with exposed beams, and a shower room downstairs. Upstairs is a
very
cosy bedroom, with vaulted and beamed ceiling, with extremely
comfortable
king-size sleigh bed, perfect for a romantic break.
The Cobb
Situated
at the end of the row, along side the wildlife pond, this cottage has
double aspect views. With flexible sleeping arrangements it sleeps 2 plus cot in a very spacious twin
divan/super-king bedroom, with en-suite bathroom. The kitchen, dining and sitting area is
open plan with vaulted ceiling with exposed beams giving a feeling of airiness.
What visitors in general had to say about our cottages ' very clean',
